Lisa Jennings born in Hull, North Yorkshire.
Brought up in the Shetland Islands.
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
My work is inspired by the ephemeral and instinctively the relationship between nature and humans. I explore habitats, patterns, behaviours and environments. I consider my studio space as anywhere I get inspired, from walking to being motionless, from being in an urban environment to being immersed in the outdoors or just passing through, things I discover by chance, or purposefully look to find are all factors that lead to creating work or spur on other ideas, that could become a workshop or event or just something to develop and consider. Everyday is a miniature adventure.
